Introduction

A subfamily of primarily ground-dwelling salticids with a holarctic genus Pellenes, an Old World genus Neaetha, and a New World genus Habronattus. Habronattus in particular is remarkable for the elaborate and diverse ornaments and behaviors used in courtship by males.
