Keith A. CrandallTypes
Holotype, Queensland Museum, Brisbane W5323 (Male); paratypes, Queensland Museum, Brisbane W5324 (7 Male, 11 Female).Distribution and Habitat
The species is known only from elevations above 1000 m a.s.l. at Mt. Finnigan and Thornton Peak, 40 km and 80 km respectively south of Cooktown, north Queensland. Monroe (1977) briefly described aspects of the habitat at the type locality and though no mention was made of vegetation, it is probably tropical rainforest.References
